Anam Cara is a Link Ministry of the Community of Aidan and Hilda, which in 2005 commissioned Brad Bessell for a ministry to the unchurched through friendship, music and theological teaching. CDs of Synnove, the heavy metal band, may be ordered from Brad.

Matt Lamont

Matthew lives in Newcastle, Australia with his wife and two daughters. He is a Voyager with the International Community of Aidan and Hilda and a member of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers). He feels moved to enter into contemplative and prayerful spaces within family life, land, community and workplace. Matthew enjoys delving into the riches of Christian spiritual writings, practices and monastic traditions and recently received the inaugural CCS Award in Spirituality from the Broken Bay Institute in Sydney. When he is not helping to care for his lively daughters he is involved in developing a community based mental health program with Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal colleagues at a local family support service. Matthew appreciates opportunities to dialogue about the spiritual life and its implications with people of all backgrounds.
